Choosing a Style Whether your style is modern or traditional, rugs can easily transform a room.

However, from construction to pile height, pattern to material, there’s a lot to think about when finding the style you want. Let us help you narrow down the choices.

A good place to start is considering which area of the home you are buying for. Rugs that are practical such as a flat pile are great for high traffic areas, however for bedroom or living spaces you may want to consider something more luxurious.

Cut Pile/Medium Pile Rug

How do I clean my rug?

Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry, white cloth. To spot clean, test carpet shampoo on an inconspicuous area first. Ensure the rug does not get too wet. Your rug will have a care label on the reverse, please retain this for future info.

Can I vacuum my rug?

We recommend using a floor-tool attachment to avoid damaging the pile. You can also gently brush or shake to maintain appearance. Rotate your rug regularly to help prevent it becoming worn in one area.

I’ve unpacked my rug and it is a little creased, what shall I do?

To get your rug looking its best after unpacking, reverse-roll the rug and then lay it flat at room temperature for 24 hours. Then, gently brush or vacuum using a floor-tool attachment. The creases should disappear.

Should I use Rug Grip with my rug?

We recommend the use of rug grip to reduce movement and keep your rug in place to avoid slips or trips.

Once positioned in its new home, unroll and vacuum gently with a tool attachment.

Creases/curling are normal.

The pile should relax and recover in a warm room after about 24 hours. Laying it face down may help speed things up.

Still not laying flat?

Re-roll in the opposite direction, unroll again and fold the corners under for a while to help them settle into place.

Lay out and enjoy!

Your rug should now be flat and ready to enjoy.
